Make sure you have the following media available before you begin an installation or update:
■ AccuMail DVD or files downloaded
■ ProSort media
■ Update media if updating
Note: The postal tools AccuMail and ProSort are available only in a Windows environment.
To integrate the software with iMIS, please ensure the following:
■ Specify x:\AccuMail as the install directory for both products, where x can either be a shared drive on your individual PC or on the network, realizing that users must have drive mapping and permissions for this shared drive.
■ The national database of addresses is maintained on a DVD and each iMIS user must have access to the database. To obtain access for users across a network, use one of the following options when installing the AccuMail software:
□ install locally for each iMIS user (not recommended for performance and update efficiency reasons)
□ install to a network drive (recommended installation configuration)
Note: Refer to AccuMail documentation for the space requirements. When installed, it may take up more than 2 GB disk space.
